Ni anar inte hur skönt det känns att nyheten äntligen är ute. Eller ja, officiellt i alla fall. ;-) Det har ju varit en hel del spekulationer i media de senaste dagarna. Jag är ändå förvånad över att vi lyckades hålla det hemligt såpass länge eftersom att det har varit offentliga uppgifter sedan i höstas. Men herregud vad svårt det har varit att inte berätta något för vänner och för ER! 18 månader har gått sedan vi fick ett av världens största modeföretag på kroken, 18 låååånga månader. Sedan dess har vi jobbat hårt för att göra Ivyrevel och våra produkter till det vi alltid sett framför oss. För 3 år sedan var vi 4 personer i en källare (vi hade även råttor vid ett tillfälle……), nu är vi 23 personer på kontoret här i Stockholm och vi växer dag för dag.
Hur känner jag i allt det här? Ja men… NYP MIG. Jag har alltid trott på det vi gör, men att få stöd av ett av världens största modeföretag är som ett kvitto på att det vi slitit med dag och natt de senaste åren faktiskt är jävligt grymt och jag är så himla glad över att göra det här med stöd från H&M Group.
Pga inlägget om att vi har lagt ner (planen var att stänga ner gamla Ivyrevel hela tiden för att göra allt redo för lanseringen av nya Ivyrevel. Jag var tvungen att få det att låta äkta för att få er och media att gå på det och eftersom att det ändå var 1a april passade jag på att brassa på lite extra. Är såklart inte ledsen hehe, jag är jätteglad! Bloggpausen var endast till för att kunna lägga all min fokus på nylanseringen, och för att jag visste att det skulle bli en hel del snack så jag ville bara hålla mig borta från det tills allt var officiellt. Det har varit sjukt svårt att inte bemöta era kommentarer/mail men planen var att vara tyst fram till idag. Ok slut på jättelång parantes) så har det varit en hel del frågor om Ivyrevel och framförallt min roll i företaget. Ingenting har ändrats, vi är fortfarande ett eget märke, min roll i företaget är densamma och jag har fortfarande mina andelar i företaget. H&M Group har köpt in sig i företaget, inte köpt upp oss. Det är fortfarande vi som styr företaget. Skillnaden är att vi nu får den hjälp och kraft vi behöver för att kunna växa. Vi har nu tillgång till H&M Group’s produktionsapparat och det är helt fantastiskt.
Jag vet inte vad jag mer ska skriva, har förställt mig själv skriva detta inlägg i över 1 år nu och det känns så overkligt att det äntligen är ute. Jag vill säga tack från BOTTEN AV MITT HJÄRTA till alla er som stöttat mig och trott på mig och oss sedan dag ett. Jag menar det verkligen, jag hade inte kunnat göra detta utan stödet från er läsare. Det är ni som gör att jag vågar! Och vet ni, att våga är det bästa man kan göra. Var modig, jobba hårt och tro på dig själv. Då kan inget stoppa dig.

// You have no idea how good it feels that the news are finally out. Well, at least official. ;-) There’s been a lot of talk and speculations in the media the last couple of days. I’ve read about it in every newspaper haha. I’m still surprised though that we managed to keep it a secret for so long since it’s been public information since last fall. But oh my God it’s been so hard to not tell my friends and YOU guys!I It’s been 18 months since we catched the eye of one of the world’s biggest fashion companies, 18 loooong months. Since that we’ve been working hard to make Ivyrevel and our products to what we’ve always wanted. 3 years ago we were 4 people in a basement (we even had rats at one point….), now we’re 23 people at the HQ here in Stockholm and we’re growing each day.
And how do I feel in all this? Well… PINCH ME! I’ve always believed in us and what we’re doing, but to get the support by one of the largest fashion companies in the world is like getting a confirmation that what we’ve been working so hard on day and night the last couple of years is actually really awesome and I’m so happy to do this together with support from the H&M Group.
Because of the post about us closing (the plan was always to close down the old Ivyrevel to make everything ready for the relaunch. I had to make it sound real to make you and media believe in it, and since it was first of april I thought I could fire away. Of course I’m not sad hehe, I’m super happy! I only had a blog pause so that I could put all my focus on the relaunch, and also because I knew that it would be a lot of talk so I wanted to stay away from it until it was all official. It’s been so hard to not respond to your comments/e-mails but the plan was to stay quiet until today. Ok end of super long parentheses) there’s been a lot of questions about Ivyrevel and mostly my part in the company. Nothing has change, we are still our own brand, my role in the company is the same and I still have my shares. H&M Group have invested in us, they haven’t bought us. We are still the ones in control of the company. The difference now is that we get the support and power we need to be able to grow. We now have access to the H&M Group’s production apparatuses and that’s absolutely fantastic.
I don’t know what else to write, I’ve been imagine myself writing this post for over a year now and it feels unreal that it’s finally official. I want to say thank you from THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART to all of you who’s been supporting me and believing in me since day one. I truly mean it, I couldn’t have done this without the support of my readers. It is thanks to you that I dare to do this! And you know what, to dare is the best thing you can do. Be brave, work hard and believe in yourself. Then nothing can stop you.
