Gubben i lådan! <3 Nu när vi målat om golv och fönster ute på balkongen (det blev så fint!!), och “vårvärmen” kommit, så är det ÄNTLIGEN dags att flytta ut alla odlingar/plantor som stått inne i vår walkincloset de senaste veckorna.

Alla färgglada krukor/hinkar har vi köpt på Ikea och pallkragen har Aleks målat så att den matchar resten av balkongen. Vi har sagt att balkongen ska vara som en färgglad liten djungel, man ska bli glad av att bara vara där ute. :-) Nu ska vi proppa ballen full med blommor och växter!

// Jack in the box! <3 Now that we’ve painted the floor and windows out on the balcony (it turned out so nice!!), and the “spring” is here, it’s FINALLY time to move out all the plants that has been in our walk-in closet the last couple of weeks.

All the colorful pots are from Ikea and Aleks has painted the pallet collar so that it matches the rest of the balcony. We decided that the balcony was going to be a colorful little jungle, so that you get happy by just being out there. :-) Now we’re gonna fill it with flowers and plants!

Vad är en färgglad balkong utan en flamingo? Hehe. Vi var förbi min kompis Noras föräldrars butik Coctail på Bondegatan idag och köpte massa grejer. De har så sjukt roliga och unika saker där och jag ville inte gå ut därifrån. :-) PS. Haft på mig träningskläder hela dagen idag för att jag inte skulle banga min springtur innan middagen. Och jag kom iväg!! Sprang 5 km och det var så satans skönt, hjälpte verkligen till att rensa skallen.

They have so many fun and unique stuff there and I didn’t want to leave. :-) PS. I’ve been wearing workout clothes all day today so that I wouldn’t cancel my evening run. And I didn’t!! I ran 5 km and it was so nice, it really helped to clean my head.

Så typiskt Aleks att köpa på sig fler liknande saker när han hittar något han gillar haha. Det blev en till flamingo! Den är ju rätt cool ändå. Som ni ser har vi flyttat vår strelitzia från hörnan vid matbordet till bredvid balkongdörren där den får mer ljus. Där drar vi ut den i solen lite då och då, och så fort det blir lite varmare så flyttar vi ut den på balkongen. Om den får plats haha. Har odlat solrosor också som kommer bli rätt höga!

Alltså är SÅ glad över att vi har balkong. Är så lycklig i den här lägenheten och i Vasastan i övrigt! Önskar att vi hade flyttat tidigare haha.. Har förresten inte glömt att visa er resten av lägenheten, vi har bara inte hunnit fixa det sista i de resterande rummen. Men imorgon får vi äntligen upp våra gardiner!!! Hejdå lakan för sovrumsfönstret (tänk att vi bott här i över 3 månader…..)

// Typical Aleks to buy more similar things when he finds something he likes haha. So we had another flamingo! It is pretty cool though. As you can see we’ve moved our strelitzia plant from the corner at our dining table, to next to the balcony door where it gets more light. We pull it out in the sun every now and then, and as soon as it gets a bit warmer we will move it out on the balcony. If there is room for it. We’ve grown sunflowers too that will be pretty high! 

Seriously I’m SO happy that we’ve got a balcony. I’m so happy in this apartment and in Vasastan! I wish that we had moved sooner haha.. Btw I haven’t forgotten to show you the rest of the apartment, we just haven’t had the time to fix the last stuff in the other rooms. But tomorrow we will finally put up our curtains!!! Bye bedsheets infront of the bedroom window (can you believe that we’ve been living here for more than 3 months…..)

God morgon hjärtan! Vi vaknade för en stund sedan och ska precis göra frukost. Jag tänkte göra bananpannkakor med jordgubbar på! :-) Sedan ska vi fortsätta fixa och måla ute på balkongen. Hoppas verkligen vi blir klara idag för just nu står alla balkonggrejer inne i vår walkincloset så kan inte komma åt ett enda plagg haha.. Men det kommer bli bra!

Söndag idag så här kommer veckans vlogg! Från Kuba. Ni får hänga med oss i två dagar när vi upptäcker stan, åker i de coola bilarna, hänger på stranden, kampanjplåtning med Nelly och mer. Hoppas ni gillar den! Nästa vecka blir det tyvärr ingen video (för mycket jobb denna vecka) men jag hoppas jag snart är tillbaka på Youtube.

// Good morning sweethearts! We woke up a little while ago and I’m gonna make breakfast now. I thought I could make banana pancakes with strawberries today! :-) Then we’re gonna continue paint and stuff out on our balcony. I really hope we will be done today because right now all the stuff from our balcony is in our walk-in closet so I can’t reach my clothes haha.. But it will turn out good!

En look från Havanna! Kände mig som en ballerina hehe. Minns inte vilket märke klänningen kommer ifrån, letade på hemsidan men kunde inte hitta den. Fin är den iallafall! :-)

Sorry för utebliven uppdatering igår, haft ett par dagar med sjukt mycket jobb samtidigt som jag känt mig väldigt…..svag och ledsen. Har gråtit mer dessa dagar än vad jag gjort på typ ett halvår. Bet ihop och tog mig igenom dagarna men nu verkar kroppen säga ifrån och jag känner mig helt utmattad. Så försöker vila upp mig denna helg. Igårkväll låg jag i Shivas knä hela kvällen och blev kliad i huvudet samtidigt som vi hejade på Anja och Calle i Let’s Dance-finalen. Idag började jag och Aleks dagen med en lång och mysig frukost tillsammans och nu håller vi på och fixar med balkongen. Våren har ju varit lite seg så det har inte varit någon brådska, men nu är det fan mitten på maj så nu måste vi få ordning på ballen!

Sorry for no update yesterday, I’ve had a couple of days with lots of work and at the same time I’ve felt very….weak and sad. I’ve been crying more these days than what I’ve done in like six months. I pulled myself together and got through the days but now my body is saying no and I feel completely exhausted. So I’m trying to reload this weekend. Last night I was lying in Shivas lap all evening, she scratched me in my head while we were cheering for Anja and Calle in the Let’s Dance final. Today Aleks and I started the day with a long and cozy breakfast together and now we’re fixing stuff out on our balcony. The spring has been a bit slow this year so we didn’t have to hurry on that one, but now it’s the middle of May so we need to make the balcony pretty!
