A morning spent at the Creators base, learning about Parley and their work with Adidas! + a cute little cat haha.

God morgon! Vi har precis vaknat och ska ner och äta frukost. Fan vad fort dagarna går här, det är redan lördag?! Vi åker hem på måndag så vi har bara några få dagar kvar. Idag har vi en aktivitet på schemat, samt (förhoppningsvis) herrfotbollsfinalen ikväll.

Ovan har ni lite bilder från i torsdags då vi fick lära oss om Adidas samarbete med Parley, en organisation som jobbar med att rädda våra hav. Sjukt inspirerande och skrämmande på samma gång. Att det just nu flyter runt 18 000 ton plast i bara norra Stilla havet känns helt otroligt. De jobbar iallafall för att städa upp haven från all plast och Adidas har tillsammans med dem tagit fram ett par sko som är gjorda av plast från havet. Tycker sånt är så häftigt. Vi lekte även med barnen från Parley school (jag fick skriva autografer, inte för att de hade någon aning om vem jag är utan de tyckte bara att det var coolt att vi var från Sverige haha. så jäkla gulliga) och så fick vi i uppgift att snabbt rita en idé som kan hjälpa våra hav. Var väl lite halvt seriös på den punkten, ni ser ju min hajrobot-teckning haha. När vi kom tillbaka till huset sen så väntade vår lilla kompis på oss, han är här varje dag och SÅ kelig. Jag gillar inte ens katter men jag vill typ ta hem honom.

// Good morning! We just woke up and now we’re gonna go down and eat breakfast. Damn the days here goes by so fast, it’s already Saturday?! We’re going home on Monday so we’ve only got a few days left. Today we have an activity on the schedule, and (hopefully) the men’s soccer final tonight.

These photos are from Thursday when we got to learn about Adidas collaboration with Parley, an organisation that works with saving our oceans. It’s was really inspiring and scary at the same time. Right now there’s 40 million pounds of plastic floating around in just the North Pacific ocean and that is just unbelievable. So they’re working on cleaning the oceans from plastic and together with Adidas they turned the plastic ocean into a pair of shoes. I think that is really cool. We also played with the kids from Parley school (I got to write autographs, not that they had any idea of who I was but they tought it was cool that we were from Sweden haha. so freaking cute) and then we all had to write a quick drawing of an idea that could help our oceans. I guess I wasn’t completely serious on that one, well you can see my shark robot haha. When we got back to the house our little friend were waiting for us, he’s here every day and he is SO cuddly. I don’t even like cats but I almost want to take him home.

Sorry för sjukt sen uppdatering, vi har varit iväg hela dagen och kom inte tillbaka till huset förrän nu. Här är klockan halv tio på kvällen och vi ska precis beställa in lite käk och titta på OS. Igår var vi och såg friidrott! Det var så jäkla fett att se Bolt springa och vinna överlägset som alltid. Vi satt rätt högt upp men försökte zooma in med mobilen för att visa er haha. Asdåliga bilder.. Men det var iallafall askul! Efter det gick vi ut och dansade på en jättehärlig utomhusklubb. Ramlade in i huset vid fem imorse, och sedan upp innan tio för att åka iväg och se Jesus-statyn. Jag ville dö haha…

// Sorry for a super late update, we’ve been away all day and didn’t get back to the house until now. It’s 9.30 pm here and we’re just about to order in some food and watch the Olympics. Yesterday we saw the athletic games! It was so awesome to see Bolt run and win big as always. Our seats were a bit up high but I tried to zoom in on my phone to show you guys haha. The photos are so crappy… But it was so much fun! After that we went out dancing on a super nice outdoor club. We came home at 5am and then up before 10 to go and see the Jesus statue. I wanted to die haha….

Nu är vi här! Vi kom fram tidigt imorse (klockan är 15 här nu) efter en rätt jobbig flygresa. Långflyget börjar med att motorerna låter JÄTTEkonstigt och jag får såklart för mig att vi ska krascha och dö så jag sitter och gråter medan Aleks försöker lugna mig. Sedan satt jag 11 timmar inklämd mellan två skrevande män (älskling jag älskar dig men inte dina långa ben när vi flyger haha) och med en person bakom som trodde att man verkligen måste SLÅ på touch screenen för att få den att funka…. Haha jaja det var det värt, för nu är vi i Riiiio!

När vi kom fram till huset imorse så bjöds det på frukost och sedan gick jag och Aleks och la oss i två timmar. Det behövdes! Nu har vi precis haft en liten bbq-lunch här och vi strax iväg till Creators base där Adidas håller till. Så peppad på denna vecka!

// We’re here! We arrived early this morning (it’s 3pm here now) after a pretty rough flight. When we took off from Paris the engines started sounding REALLY weird so ofc I thought we were going to die so I cried while Aleks tried to calm me down. And then I sat 11 hours squeezed in between two men who sat with their legs wide apart (honey I love you but not your long legs when we’re on a plane haha) and with a person behind me who thought that you really had to BASH the touch screen to make it work…. Haha anyway it was worth it, cause now we’re in Riiio!

When we got to the house this morning we had breakfast and then Aleks and I took a 2 hour nap. We needed it! Now we just had a little bbq lunch here and we’re gonna go to Creators base soon where Adidas is hanging out. I’m so excited about this week!
