First walk to the office!

Jag trodde att det skulle kännas jobbigt att vara hemma i kylan igen men det känns faktiskt jäkligt skönt! Vi var hemma vid ett inatt och det kändes underbart att kliva in i nya lägenheten. Så glad över att vi packade upp alla flyttlådor innan vi åkte till Zanzibar! Däremot har vi inga gardiner än och de hade precis målat vid fönstret (de fixade de sista detaljerna under veckan vi var borta) så kunde inte sätta upp något för fönstret heller. Sov med en gatlykta rakt i ansiktet haha. Nu bor man i stan, ba att gilla läget!

Klev upp vid halv tio och promenerade till jobbet. Med stopp för att köpa kaffe och ta en pinsam självutlösarbild så tog det 30 minuter att gå till vårt kontor på Östermalm. Tror det tar 20 annars, så rätt nära! När jag kom fram till kontoret möttes jag av en glad vovve, som jag saknat honom. <3

Har precis varit iväg på lunch med mina kollegor och nu har jag massvis med jobb att ta itu med. Smell you lataahhh!

// I thought it would be hard to be back home in the cold again but it feels really good actually! We got home around 1 last night and it felt wonderful to step into our new apartment. I’m so glad that we unpacked all the boxes before we left to Zanzibar! But we don’t have any curtains yet and the paint around the window wasn’t completely dry (they fixed the last details while we were gone) so we couldn’t cover the window with anything. I slept with a streetlight right in my face haha. We live in the city now, we just have to deal with it!

I got up at 9.30 and took a walk to the office. With a stop for coffee and to take an awkward self-timer photo, it took me about 30 minutes to go to our office at Östermalm. Otherwise I think it will take about 20 minutes, so it’s pretty close! I was greeted by a happy dog when I got to the office, I’ve missed him so much. <3

I just got back from lunch with my colleagues and now I’ve got looots of work to deal with. Smell you latahhhhh!

At the charity gala in Florence

En av kvällarna i Florens var vi på en välgörenhetsgala för Andrea Bocelli Foundation! De auktionerade ut konst till ett värde av hundratusentals kronor och pengarna gick till att återuppbygga skolor på Haiti. Det bjöds även på uppträdanden av Andrea Bocelli & Nicole Scherzinger, samt Tom Odell. Sedan blev det fest och Kelly Rowland körde massa gamla Destiny’s Child-låtar och vi dansade tills fötterna blödde. :-)) Bra kväll! Kvällen slutade med att jag och Madde står ute på gatan och sjunger “Bella Notte”, kan det bli mer klyschigt haha.

// One of the nights in Florence we were at a charity gala for the Andrea Bocelli Foundation! They auctioned off art for tens of thousands of euro and the money went to rebuilding schools in Haiti. There were also performances by Andrea Bocelli with Nicole Scherzinger, and then also Tom Odell. Then there was a party and Kelly Rowland performed lots of old Destiny’s Child songs and we danced til our feet bled. :-)) It was a good night! The evening ended with Madde and I standing on the street singing “Bella Notte”, such a cliche haha.

Today’s amazing breakfast spot

Jag kan inte riktigt ta in all skönhet som finns på det här hotellet. Det är SÅ vackert! Skandinavisk minimalism i all ära men jag vill typ bo såhär haha. Det blev iallafall omelett, frukt och kaffe till frukost och nu ska vi strax iväg. Vi ska besöka Luisa Via Roma’s concept store, äta lunch och fota lite på Florens gator!

// I can’t really take in all this beauty at this hotel. It’s SO beautiful! Scandinavian interior is nice but I would rather live like this haha. Anyway I had omelett, fruits and coffee for breakfast and now we’re just about to head out. We’re gonna visit Luisa Via Roma’s concept store, have lunch and take some photos on the streets of Florence!
