När vi kom fram igårkväll checkade vi in på Hotel Balzac!

// When we arrived last night we checked into Hotel Balzac!

Och där väntade blommor, champagne & macarons med mitt fejs på haha. Så gulligt av dem!

Hotellet ligger precis vid Champs-Élysées som just nu är mysigare än någonsin med all julbelysning. :-)

// The hotel is located a few steps from Champs-Élysées which is cozier than ever with all the Christmas lights. :-)

Vi promenerade till en restaurang vi åt på sist vi var här…

// We walked to a restaurant we visited the last time we were here..

…nämligen Miss Ko! Gillar verkligen det stället. Sjukt god mat (asian fusion) och härlig stämning.

Jag tog en alkoholfri drink med gurka, lime och vad det nu var i. :-)

// I had a non-alcoholic drink with cucumber, lime and whatever it was in it. :-)

Och lite mat! Om ni gillar sushi och sånt borde ni verkligen gå hit för de har väldigt goda och roliga varianter. Och chili mayo. :-)

Lite bilder från igår! Vi kom fram strax efter åtta igårkväll, vi var rätt trötta men vi bestämde oss ändå för att gå ut och äta. Vi såg att en restaurang vi gillade sist vi var här bara låg två kvarter bort så vi gick dit!

Idag har vi ätit frukost och fotat lite här på hotellet och nu ska vi ut på stan. Kameran hänger med, vi hörs sen!

Today we’ve had breakfast and shot some stuff here at the hotel, and now we’re gonna walk around in the city. I’ll bring my camera!

Throwback to Paris in april 2015

Paris Paris. Kanske världens vackraste stad. Jag har varit där flera gånger och senast var i våras när jag och Aleks firade min 24-årsdag. Det har länge varit bestämt att vi ska åka dit igen (för ett litet jobb blandat med nöje) men vi har skjutit på det flera gånger pga jobb. Sedan hände terrorattacken… Efter lite om och men så har vi nu bokat in vår weekend och vi åker nästa helg. Jag var lite tveksam först, dels för att jag är lite rädd men också för att jag kände att det var fel att åka dit och “ha kul” när över hundra människor miste sina liv på gatorna där nyligen. Men sedan pratade jag med de som bjudit dit oss och precis som de sa så ska vi ju inte visa rädsla, vi ska inte sluta leva våra liv. Det är ju det terroristerna vill, sprida skräck. Så vi ska åka dit. Det kommer förmodligen kännas jobbigt ibland och stämningen lär ju vara helt annorlunda jämfört med sist, men vi ska försöka fokusera på all glädje och kärlek som finns i världens mest romantiska stad. ♥

// Paris Paris. Maybe the most beautiful city in the world. I’ve been there many times and the last time was this spring when Aleks and I celebrated my 24th birthday. We decided to go back a while ago (for work and pleasure) but because of work here we had to postpone the trip several times. And then the terror attack happened… After a lot of ifs and buts, we have now booked the trip and we’re going next weekend. I was a bit doubtful at first, partly because I’m a bit scared but also because it felt wrong to go there and “have fun” when more than hundred people lost their lives on the streets there recently. But then I talked to the people who invited us and just like they said we shouldn’t show fear, we shouldn’t stop living our lives. That’s what the terrorists wants, to spread fear. So we’re going. It will probably feel hard sometimes and I can imagine that the atmosphere is different from last time, but we will try to focus on all the joy and love they have there in the world’s most romantic city. ♥

Här har ni ett gäng bilder från eventet i torsdags! Det var en exklusiv middag hemma hos restaurang Nomas fd kock Sören Westh i hans fina lägenhet. Det bjöds på åtta små goda rätter, och fantastiska drinkar. Allt i samma anda som parfymen Black Opium. Rätterna var dock så små att jag och Madde blev fulla på två drinkar haha.

Tack YSL för att vi fick komma och tusen tack för de fina presenterna! Jag som aldrig kört någon annan parfym än Escadas fruktiga dofter (på riktigt, sedan jag var 14…. dags att byta?) funderar på att börja köra Black Opium istället. :-)

// Here you have a bunch of photos from the event! It was an exclusive dinner in the apartment of the former Noma sous chef Soren Westh. We had 8 little delicious dishes, and amazing drinks. Everything designed after the fragrance Black Opium. The dishes was so tiny though, Madde and I got drunk at two drinks haha.

Thank you YSL for having us and thank you for the beautiful gifts! I’ve never had any other perfumes than Escadas fruity fragrances (seriously, since I was like 14….. time to change?) but I’m thinking about going for the Black Opium now. :-)
