Moving to our new apartment, thank you Grabbarna Flytt for helping us!

I lördags var det ÄNTLIGEN dags att flytta till vår nya lägenhet! Vi köpte lägenheten i juni, men det var inte förrän i augusti vi började renovera. Trodde dock inte att det skulle ta hela 5 månader, men jag har nu lärt mig att det alltid drar ut på tiden haha. :-)) Fint blev det iallafall!

Grabbarna Flytt hjälpte oss att flytta från Hjorthagen till Vasastan och efter knappt 5 timmar var vi klara. Så jäkla glad över att vi tog hjälp av dem (vi hade tänkt göra allt själva, herregud hur hade det gått), snabbare grabbar får man leta efter! Men sedan började det jobbiga, att försöka få ordning på hemmet haha. Min bror och Nadia kom över och hjälpte till, de blev två sena nätter men när vi lämnade hemmet imorse så började det äntligen se ut som ett hem! :-))

// On Saturday it was FINALLY time to move to our new apartment! We bought the place in June, but we didn’t start renovating until August. I didn’t think it would take 5 months though, but I’ve learned now that it always takes longer than you think haha. :-)) It looks super nice though!

Grabbarna Flytt helped us move from Hjorthagen to Vasastan and after barely 5 hours we were done. I’m so happy they helped us (we were planning on doing everything ourselves, gosh I wonder how that would have gone), I don’t think you can find faster guys than them! But then the hard part started, to try to get it organized haha. My brother and Nadia came by to help, we had 2 late nights but when we left this morning it finally started to look like a home! :-))

3 snaps from Florence

God morgon hjärtan! Jag har redan vant mig vid att vakna upp i Vasastan. Trivs så himla bra i lägenheten här redan även fast allt inte är klart än (vi har liksom kartonger för sovrumsfönstret för att vi inte har fixat gardiner än hehe). Igårkväll tvättade jag hela kvällen medan jag packade resväskan och HERRE vilken lyx det är att ha tvättmaskin och torktumlare i badrummet haha. Så jävla bekvämt! Och diskmaskin….. Alltså vill typ gråta av känslan att äntligen ha diskmaskin. Bra för förhållandet också, nu slipper vi tjafsa om vem som ska ta disken haha!

Nu ska jag kliva upp ur vår sköna säng och ta en dusch. Strax innan tio ska vi åka in till flygplatsen och möta upp de andra, sedan drar vi till Zanzibar!

// Good morning babes! I’m already used to waking up in Vasastan. I already love it here in this apartment even though everything is not done yet (for example we haven’t fixed curtains yet so we have cartons covering the bedroom window hehe). Last night I was doing the laundry all night while packing my suitcase and DAMN it’s such a luxury to have washing machine and dryer in the bathroom haha. So convenient! And dishwasher… Seriously the feeling of finally having a dishwasher almost makes me wanna cry. And it’s good for our relationship too, now we don’t have to argue about who’s doing the dishes haha!

Now I’m gonna get out of our comfy bed and take a shower. We’ll head to the airport around 10 to meet up with the others, then we’re off to Zanzibar!

At the charity gala in Florence

En av kvällarna i Florens var vi på en välgörenhetsgala för Andrea Bocelli Foundation! De auktionerade ut konst till ett värde av hundratusentals kronor och pengarna gick till att återuppbygga skolor på Haiti. Det bjöds även på uppträdanden av Andrea Bocelli & Nicole Scherzinger, samt Tom Odell. Sedan blev det fest och Kelly Rowland körde massa gamla Destiny’s Child-låtar och vi dansade tills fötterna blödde. :-)) Bra kväll! Kvällen slutade med att jag och Madde står ute på gatan och sjunger “Bella Notte”, kan det bli mer klyschigt haha.

// One of the nights in Florence we were at a charity gala for the Andrea Bocelli Foundation! They auctioned off art for tens of thousands of euro and the money went to rebuilding schools in Haiti. There were also performances by Andrea Bocelli with Nicole Scherzinger, and then also Tom Odell. Then there was a party and Kelly Rowland performed lots of old Destiny’s Child songs and we danced til our feet bled. :-)) It was a good night! The evening ended with Madde and I standing on the street singing “Bella Notte”, such a cliche haha.
