Arriving to Palm Springs! Jumpsuit from Ivyrevel, sunglasses from Karen Walker.

Igår hoppade vi in i bussen och åkte till Palm Springs! Det var ingen trafik så vi kom fram mycket tidigare än tänkt. Våra rum var inte färdiga när vi checkade in på hotellet så vi satte oss vid poolen, käkade lunch och solade lite. Vi fick inte våra rum förrän på eftermiddagen så vi missade tyvärr dagsfesten, men vi hade en trevlig välkomstdrink med hela gänget och sedan drog vi ut till festivalen! Mer om det sen. :-)

// Yesterday we got on a bus and went to Palm Springs! There wasn’t any traffic at all so we arrived much earlier than we expected. Our rooms wasn’t done when we checked into the hotel so we sat down by the pool, had lunch and a little tanning. We didn’t get our rooms until late afternoon so unfortunately we missed the day party, but we had a lovely welcome drink with the whole gang and then we went out to the festival! I’ll make a post about that later. :-)

En look från Mallorca som ni frågat om! Jag vill glida runt i de här brallorna hela våren, älskar dem. Köpte dem i ljusrosa också hehe. :-) Kom precis hem och har satt mig vid köksbordet för att bocka av lite mail och sånt medan Aleks står och lagar mat. Han gör sin goda currygryta med linser till, det ska bli gott! Så vi ska käka och titta på Homeland. Har börjat på nya säsongen som vi fick höra inte var lika bra som de andra? Men vi gillar den hittills iallafall!

Ska försöka lägga mig i tid ikväll för jag har lovat Klara att träna med henne klockan 7 (!!!!) imorgonbitti. Alltså vem är jag. Jag hatar morgnar och jag hatar träning så jag förstår inte varför jag gett mig in på detta haha. Så fort jag sa ja så började jag fundera ut ursäkter jag skulle dra. Neeeejrå, det ska nog bli kul. Skönt att få det gjort innan jobbet också!

He’s making his delicious curry stew with lentils, it will be good! So we’re gonna eat dinner and watch Homeland. We’ve started watching the new season and we heard it’s not as good as the other ones? But we like it so far!

I’ll try to go to bed early tonight because I’ve promised Klara to work out with her at 7 am (!!!!!) tomorrow. Seriously who am I. I hate mornings and I hate working out so I don’t understand why I’m doing this haha. As soon as I said yes I started to think about what kind of excuses I could tell her. Naaa, I’m sure it will be fun. And it’s nice to get it done before work!

I AM KENZATRICOT

Jag fortsätter mitt samarbete med Gina Tricot och denna gång har jag plockat ut och stylat mina favoriter från deras fina vårkollektion som finns ute nu. Jag valde att köra på en lite tuffare look med matchande kavaj-set, tisha och brillor, och en romantisk look med en lite längre kjol, offshoulder-topp och klackar. Det är det jag alltid har gillat med Gina Tricot, att man kan hitta både det coola och det söta (kolla bara detta outfitinlägg från 2010, minns hur mycket både ni och jag älskade den där söta klänningen!) Det gör det så mycket enklare att leka med plagg då. :-)

Och huuur sugen blir man inte på vår nu? Dessa bilder tog vi nere på Mallorca och jag bara längtar tills våren hittar till Stockholm också. Längtar efter timmar på uteserveringar med vänner, sitta på torg och äta glass i solen, se alla knoppar slå ut i träden, när man äntligen kan slänga av sig jackan för första gången och bara att få se hela staden komma till liv igen. Jag verkligen älskar våren, det är min absoluta favoritårstid.

// I continue my collaboration with Gina Tricot and this time I’ve selected and styled my favorite items from their pretty spring collection that is out in store now. I chose to go for one a bit more tough look with matching blazer set, t-shirt and sunglasses, and one more romantic look with a skirt, off shoulder top and heels. That’s one thing I’ve always loved about Gina Tricot, that you can find both the cool and the cute (just check this outfit post from 2010, I remember how much both you and I loved that cute dress!) It makes it easier to play with clothes. :-)

And how much are we craving for spring now? We took these photos in Mallorca and I’m so excited for spring to arrive to Stockholm as well. I’m longing for hours on outdoor cafes with friends, sit on squares and eat ice cream in the sun, see all the trees blossom, when you can finally take off the jacket for the first time and to just see the whole city come alive again. I really love spring, it’s my favorite time of the year.
