På förmiddagen medan vi förberedde maten och allt så gled jag runt i raggsockor och en ful jultröja. :-)

Mani (och Milou) fick som vanligt mycket uppmärksamhet.

Barnen vill ALLTID hjälpa mig fota haha! De tycker det är svinkul och börjar bråka om vem som ska fota. Denna bild är tagen av Miranda 7 år.

Dags för maaat! Lagom till julbordet så kom även Aleks kusiner, vi var rätt många men maten är ändå inte slut ännu hehe.

Jul hos familjen Subosic/Zouiten/Olsson! ♥

Hej hjärtan! Hoppas ni får njuta av lite julledighet precis som jag och att ni hade en mysig julafton. Jag hade nog den bästa julaftonen någonsin. Full rulle med 5 barn, 2 hundar och allt som skulle fixas med mat osv, så lite kaosigt men mycket kärlek. Det var första gången min syster, hennes man och barnen firade uppe med alla oss här i Stockholm och alla flickorna har haft så himla kul! I tre dagar har de sovit uppe hos Aleks bror och barnen och det har varit så mysigt att ha alla bara tvärsöver gatan. Dessa dagar har vi lekt massor, ätit massor, spelat massa spel, ätit ännu mer (antar att jag inte är den enda som spyr på julmat och godis nu haha), hängt med pappa och pojkarna på sjukhuset och idag var vi även hos mormor och morfar i Västerås och hälsade på.

Nu har Olssons rullat ner mot Malmö igen (med två ledsna barn som inte ville lämna Stockholms-kusinerna <3) och det känns så tomt och tyst. Men vi alla ses snart igen!

// Hey sweethearts! I hope you get to enjoy some days off like me and that you had a cozy Christmas. I think I had the best one so far. Full action with 5 kids, 2 dogs and everything that needed to be prepared with food etc, so it was a bit chaotic but so much love. This was the first time my sister, her husband and the kids celebrated with all of us here in Stockholm and the girls had to much fun! They’ve been staying at Aleks brother’s and the kids and it’s been so cozy to just have everyone across the street. So these days we’ve been playing a lot, eating a lot, played lots of games, eat even more (I guess I’m not the only one who’s sick and tired of Christmas food and sweets now haha), spent time with our dad and the boys at the hospital and today we also went to grandma and grandpa in Västerås. 

The Olsson’s are on their way back to Malmö now (with two sad kids who didn’t want to leave their Stockholm cousins <3) and it feels so empty and quiet. But we will all see each other again soon!

Merry Christmas from us! ♥

Pga allt som händer så har jag inte riktigt orkat tänka på julen (det är två dagar kvar till julafton men det känns som att jag är kvar i oktober), så jag och Klara bokade in en date igår. Jag behövde piggas upp lite och vi båda behövde ordna lite grejer inför julen.

PS. ORKAR INTE vad snygg Klara är. Hon är även världens snällaste, roligaste och en riktigt bra lyssnare. Tack för att du orkar med mitt snörvlande i telefon hela tiden. Du är en sån himla fin vän. <3

// Because of everything that is going on I have barely thought about Christmas (it’s two days left til Christmas Eve but it feels like I’m stuck in October), so Klara and I booked a date yesterday. I needed to cheer up a bit and we both needed to fix some stuff before Christmas.

PS. CAN’T HANDLE how hot Klara is. She’s also the kindest, funniest and a really good listener. Thank you for putting up with me crying on the phone all the time. You’re such a good friend. <3

Iallafall, jag promenerade mot Östermalm strax efter 9 igårmorse och mötte upp Klara. sedan började vi dagen med en frukost på Nybrogatan 38! Vi beställde juice, kaffe och varsin omelett (min var fylld med mozzarella och tomat. ost är fan livet)

Känner jag er rätt så undrar ni men VAD är det där till vänster? Låt oss ta en närmre titt på det…

// Anyway, I took a walk into the city around 9 am yesterday and met up with Klara. Then we started the day with a breakfast at Nybrogatan 38! We ordered juice, coffee and omelette (mine was filled with mozzarella and tomato. cheese is life)

Jo, låt mig presentera STEKTA LUSSEKATTER med vispgrädde och hjortronsylt. My God, som min mamma brukar säga. Jag måste göra detta hemma. Vi hade dock förväntat oss mer än varsin minibulle för 100 spänn men okej då.

// Well, let me introduce FRIED SAFFRON BUNS with whipped cream and jam. My God, like my mom always says. I have to try this at home. We expected more than just one tiny bun each for 10 euro but okey then.

Efter det var det dags för lite julklapp-/presentshopping. Barnens klappar var redan klara men var på jakt efter något till Aleks som fyller 33 på juldagen. Och en julklapp till honom också. Vi hade ju bestämt att bara köpa julklappar till barnen i år (Aleks brorsdöttrar och mina systerdöttrar), men tror ni inte Aleks en dag säger “jag vet att vi inte skulle köpa julklappar till varandra, men jag har hittat en till dig! men du behöver såklart inte köpa en till mig.” Man ba…….. Klart som fan jag kände mig tvungen haha.

Så förutom födelsedagspresent så hittade jag en julklapp till honom som jag vet att han behöver och vill ha.

// After that it was time for some gift shopping! The kid’s gifts were already done but I was looking for something for Aleks who turns 33 on Christmas day. And a Christmas gift to him as well. Like I said earlier we had decided to only buy Christmas gifts to the kids this year (Aleks nieces and my nieces), but don’t you think Aleks one day says “I know we weren’t supposed to buy gifts to each other, but I found one for you! but of course you don’t have to buy one for me.” I was like…… Sure as hell I had to find something haha.

So except for one birthday gift I also found one Christmas gift for him, a thing I know he needs and wants.

Mitt i allt tog vi en paus på Chokladkoppen i gamla stan. Varsin varm choklad med grädde. Mmm. Vi drog även till Mall of Scandinavia för att leta mer julklappar. Jag hatar köpcentrum haha, de känns som fritidsgårdar med massa kids som springer runt och inte har något bättre för sig, dvs som vi när vi var tonåringar. Fan vad skönt det är ändå att vara vuxen.

I hate malls haha, they feel like youth centers with lots of kids running around with nothing better to do, i.e. like us when we were teenagers. I have to say it feels hella nice to be an adult.

Jag värmde mig i fuskpäls från H&M och kängor från Caterpillar.

När kvällen kom skulle Klara jobba så hon släppte av mig hemma, och så gick jag och handlade middag. Jag hann slå in lite julklappar innan Nadia och Dilay kom över och då käkade vi tacos och pratade i några timmar. Om relationer och om lillan i D’s mage. Jag tittar på hennes mage och kan verkligen inte förstå att det ligger en liten människa där i. Det är så häftigt. Jag längtar tills det är vår tur.

Nu gör vi oss redo för julen som kommer bli lite tuffare och lite annorlunda i år. Åka mellan hem och sjukhus. Något som är kul är att min syster och barnen kommer upp imorgon och firar med oss och min andra familj för första gången. Aleks brorsdöttrar har längtat och längtat och nu kommer äntligen Anya och Sally och sover över hos dem.

When the evening came Klara had to work so she dropped me off at home, and I went to the store to buy dinner. I wrapped up some gifts before Nadia and Dilay came over and then we had tacos and talked for a couple of hours. About relationships and about the little one in D’s belly. I look at her belly and I really can’t understand that it’s a little human in there. It’s so cool. I can’t wait for it to be our turn. 

Now we’re getting ready for Christmas that will be a bit tougher and a bit different this year. Go between home and hospital. Something that is fun is that my sister and the kids are coming up tomorrow to celebrate with us and my other family for the first time. Aleks nieces have been waiting and waiting and now Anya and Sally are finally coming to sleep over at their place.
