Satan vad seg jag är denna måndag! Tiden går så långsamt också. Sitter och räknar ner timmarna tills jag kan lämna kontoret och gå och träna haha.

Igår var vi som sagt och kollade landställe! Barnen var med också, så fort vi klev in i stugan så började de planera vem som skulle sova var. Haha. Vi gillade både omgivningen och stugan men det var lite grejer där som var väldigt oklara så vi kommer nog inte buda. Men vi har mailat på ett par andra! Drömmen vore att köpa rätt så snart så vi hinner fixa ordning det ordentligt till våren. :-)

Like I wrote earlier we checked out a country house yesterday! The kids were with us as well and as soon as we stepped into the cabin, they started making plans for who was going to sleep where. Haha. We liked both the area and the cabin but there were a few stuff that was very unclear so we probably won’t bid on it. But we have a few other interesting objects! The dream is to buy something pretty soon so that we have time to fix it for spring. :-)

A quick stop in Rome! 

Rom var ett av våra kortaste stopp på vår roadtrip. Hur länge var vi där… Kanske 12 timmar? Haha. Vi hade inte alls planerat att besöka den staden, men påväg från Cinque Terre ner till Amalfi-kusten så kunde vi inte låta bli när vi ändå åkte förbi. Den staden är ju så himla vacker! Kan gå där i flera timmar och bara titta på alla gamla byggnader. Vi kom fram dit på kvällen och gick ut och käkade på Antica Pesa. En mysig restaurang med Michelin-stjärna som en vän till oss tipsade oss om. Åt en carbonara (den godaste jag någonsin ätit) till förrätt och sedan en helt galet god fiskrätt. Morgonen där gick vi upp tidigt och promenerade runt i stan, besökte några historiska platser och så köpte vi med oss frukost och satte oss i en trapp och åt. :-)

Vi ville dra förbi Colosseum och ta en sån här bild som vi tog för 6 år sedan, men det hann vi inte. Vi var tvungna att röra oss ner till det som blev mitt andra favoritstopp (tillsammans med Calella de Palafrugell) på hela resan – Positano!

// Rome was one of our shortest stops on our roadtrip. How long were we there…. Maybe 12 hours? Haha. We wasn’t planning on visiting that city but on our way from Cinque Terre down to the Amalfi coast, we couldn’t just pass it. That city is so damn beautiful! I can walk there for hours and just look at all the old buildings. We arrived there in the evening and went out for dinner at Antica Pesa. A friend told us about this cozy restaurant with Michelin star. I had a carbonara (the most delicious one I’ve ever had) for starter, and then an incredibly delicious fish. The next morning we went up early and walked around in the city, visited some historical places and then we bought breakfast with us and sat down in some stairs. :-)

We wanted to go by the Colosseum and take this photo again that we took 6 years ago, but we didn’t have time. We had to start driving down to the place that became my other favorite stop (together with Calella de Palafrugell) on the whole trip – Positano!

Oj jag var tydligen sämst på att ta bilder på denna plats haha, gick igenom nu och hittade inte så många. Sorry, trots att jag bloggat i tio år så glömmer jag ibland bort att jag har en blogg. Synd för det var ett sånt himla fint ställe! Från Portofino åkte vi till staden La Spezia och tog in på hotell där, och dagen därpå var vi på utflykt i Cinque Terre. Vi tog tåg mellan de olika byarna (vi valde Riomaggiore, Vernazza och Monterosso) och stannade till för att titta på alla färgglada hus, bada och äta pizza. Som jag sa så var det väldigt fint, men Cinque Terre kändes mer som en turistattraktion så vi tyckte att en dagstur där räckte gott och väl. :-)

Dagen slutade med att jag och Ines däckade på stranden (finns det något bättre än att somna på stranden?) medan grabbarna stod i vattnet och pratade, och sedan kramades vi hejdå. De åkte tillbaka till Frankrike och jag och Aleks fortsatte ner mot en av världens vackraste städer. ROM!

// Oops apparently I barely took any photos at this place haha, I went through them now and I didn’t find so many. Sorry, even though I’ve been blogging for ten years I sometimes forget I have a blog. Such a shame because it was a really pretty place! From Portofino we went to the city La Spezia and checked into a hotel there, and the day after we went on a day trip to Cinque Terre. We took the train between the villages (we chose Riomaggiore, Vernazza and Monterosso) and we stopped to look at all the colorful houses, swim and eat pizza. Like I said it was very pretty, but Cinque Terre feels more like a tourist attraction so we thought a day trip was enough. :-)

The day ended with me and Ines sleeping on the beach (is there anything better than falling asleep on the beach?) while the boys were in the water talking, and then we said goodbye. They went back to France and me and Aleks continued to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. ROME!
