A day at Klong Kloi beach and then lunch at Lonely beach! Bikini from Chiquelle.

Stränderna vi hängde mest på var Klong Kloi beach (favoriten! rätt folktomt) och Lonely beach, båda ligger på sydvästra delen av Koh Chang. Eftersom vi bodde i Klong Prao (supermysigt litet område med massa gatukök där det hängde lika mycket lokalbefolkning som turister) vilket är ungefär i mitten av kusten, så hade vi nära både upp till White sand beach (som vi inte gillade alls dock, kändes mycket turistigare) och ner till de södra stränderna. Så härligt att ge sig iväg på moppen och ba stanna där man känner för det, och det var det vi gjorde när vi hittade till dessa ställen! Körde och körde, stannade till och spanade in stranden, gillade vi det inte så åkte vi vidare.

Bilderna här är från förra söndagen tror jag, då vi började med strandhäng, bad och kokosnötter på Klong Kloi beach, lunch vid södra Lonely Beach (det ligger flera matställen bredvid varandra där och just den vi åt på tror jag hette Monkey – RIKTIGT GOD morning glory) och sedan stannade vi och badade på norra delen av stranden med massa hundar. <3

Såg att några av er frågat om hotellet vi bodde på. Vi bodde på Barali resort vilket var helt okej. Stranden var inte den finaste (och den existerade knappt förrän eftermiddagen kom och vattnet gick ner) men vi tyckte inte det gjorde något eftersom man bara kunde åka iväg. Bra frukost och supergullig personal. Däremot funkade inte wi-fi men om man inte behöver det så är det ju lugnt!

Since we stayed in Klong Prao (a super cozy little area with lots of cheap food places with as many locals as tourists) which is in the middle of the coast, we were close to both White sand beach (which we didn’t like at all though, felt way more touristy) and the south beaches. It was so nice to just get on the moped and stop where we wanted, and that’s what we did when we found these places! We drove and drove, stopped and checked the beach, if we didn’t like it we moved on.

These photos are from last Sunday I think, we started with beach hang, swimming and coconuts at Klong Kloi beach, lunch at south Lonely Beach (there are several food places next to each other there and the one we ate at was called Monkey I think – DELICIOUS morning glory) and then we stopped and swam at the north part of the beach with lots of dogs. <3

I saw that some of you asked about the hotel we stayed at. We stayed at Barali resort which was pretty okey. The beach wasn’t the most beautiful one (and it barely existed until the afternoon when the water went down) but we didn’t mind since we could just go away with the moped. Nice breakfast and the staff was super cute and friendly. The wi-fi didn’t work though but if you don’t need it it’s ok!

Denna ö är nu en av mina favoritplatser i hela världen och absolut nummer 1 av alla platser vi varit på i Thailand (Krabi, Koh Tao & Koh Samui). Jag bara älskar det här. Älskar känslan, människorna, maten och alla mysiga matställen, stränderna, och jag älskar att det inte känns så turistigt som de andra ställena. TACK till er om tipsade oss om att åka just hit! :-)

Här har ni lite bilder från igår. De senaste dagarna har vi bara åkt runt på moppen och upptäckt andra delar av ön. Vi stannar till på olika stränder och badar, dricker färska juice-shakes och frossar i billig thaimat. Ja, som ni förstår så har vi det riktigt jävla bra här och jag vill inte att denna resa ska ta slut. MEN det är flera dagar kvar (typiskt mig att så fort vi landat ba “åh nej snart ska vi hem…”) så nu ska vi fortsätta njuta!

Here are some photos from yesterday. The last few days we’ve just been going around on our moped and discovering other parts of the island. We stop at different beaches and swim, drink fresh juice shakes and eat lots and lots of cheap thai food. Yes, as you can understand we’re having a freaking awesome time here and I don’t want this trip to end. BUT we have several days left (typical me to start saying “oh no we’re going home soon…” when we’ve just landed) so now we’re gonna continue to enjoy this!

Varje kväll (ok alla tre nätter vi var där haha) såg vi solen gå ner såhär fint från vår balkong! Jag, Shiva och duvorna som hade byggt bo uppe i ena hörnet….

En av dagarna vi gick på stan så köpte jag tre superfina skålar i denna lilla butik! Önskar jag köpte mer… Hade dock redan övervikt på väg ner (jag är sämst på att packa och har alltid med mig för mycket haha) och dessa var rätt tunga.

Hur fin är denna sammetsbaddräkt? Shivas kompis har ett swimwear-märke som heter Sama Danesh Soch den kommer därifrån. Älskar hennes baddräkter, de känns väldigt lyxiga och exklusiva. Kimonon är från Nelly och den hittar ni här (reklamlänk!)

Lite blandade bilder från Marrakech. Ni har undrat om några av plaggen jag bar under denna resa så jag la länkar under bilderna till det jag kunde hitta. Vi var bara där tre nätter vilket var alldeles för kort tid för att hinna uppleva denna vackra stad ordentligt, så jag ser fram emot att åka tillbaka dit inom en snar framtid.
