Summer plans:

Except for work I’ve got a couple of trips coming up! In July I will go to Båstad for a couple of days with my friends, we’re gonna hang out at the Summer on festival and party hard. ;-) When I get back, my sister and her kids will come to Stockholm for a couple of days! Hopefully the weather will be nice so that we can go to the beach. Later in July it’s time for our friend’s wedding in Greece. We will stay for a week in a villa with our friends. In August Aleks and I will actually go to Rio together with Adidas for the Olympics! We’ve always wanted to go to Brazil so I’m super excited. And it’s gonna be really cool to watch the games. I might also go back to New York in August as well but it’s not decided yet. Anyway, I will end summer in Croatia together with my three best friends! <3

Favorite summer drink:

Hmm well I love all drinks in the summer haha, but strawberry daiquiri really brings back some fun memories from my first summer trips abroad with my friends.

Most fun summer memory:

I have so many beautiful memories, but one that really warms my heart and that I think about a lot is those summers we spent at Åland with my grandparents when we were kids. I don’t remember much more than playing outside the cabins and the happiness (and the huge icecreams grandma always bought me haha). I don’t know why but those memories give me so much….comfort.

Favorite BBQ food:

I’m a very simple person when it comes to that, give me a KORV MED BRÖD (sausage in bread) with ketchup, mustard, cucumber mayo and top it with toasted onion and I’m happy haha.

My dream summer destination:

Greece or Italy, they’re both so beautiful and the food is amazing. As you know I also love going to Barcelona, and Ibiza!

Favorite summer place:

Our friend’s country house that we always go to every summer. I love going there so much because it’s so quiet and simple. There’s no water in the house, barely no phone reception which means no internet at all, and all we do there is reading books, going out on walks with Mani and eating simple food like meatballs with macaroni. I just love it there! We dream about getting our own cabin out there one day..

What I listen to this summer:

Well the songs that will definitely remind me of this summer is: One Dance, Panda and Can’t stop the feeling, maybe because they play them EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME. Feel free to share your fav albums at the moment! I need some new music to listen to.

Favorite summer scent:

The scent after it’s been raining is just SUMMER to me. And it’s also my favorite because rain means less pollen haha.

I’m really looking forward to:

I’m really really looking forward to finishing the renovation of our new apartment, because that feels pretty far away right now. We’ve bumped into a couple of issues so we probably won’t be done until September… Other than that I also look forward to our trip to Croatia! I’ve always wanted to go there, and I’m so glad all four of us (me, Mika, Nadia and Dilay) are finally going on a trip together again!! It’s been waaay to long.

Three things I love the most about summer:

Well as a Swede there’s no surprise that I mostly love the higher temperature, it just makes everything a bit easier and more fun. Like all the get together’s in the parc, the open air festivals & parties, going to the beach and having picnics. The second best thing is definitely the light! Here the sun sets after 10 pm and it rises at 3 am. Which is amazinggggg, but that also means really dark winters.. Ok let’s enjoy it while it lasts haha. And the third…. Well it has to be that it’s totally acceptable to be lazy as hell during the summer haha.

Här är den, den vackraste ringen jag någonsin sett. Min drömring.

Jag har sett lite frågor från er så jag ska försöka få med allt här. Hur stor är diamanten? 1.01 karat. Visste Aleks vad jag ville ha för ring? När vi förra året pratade om att det kanske var dags att ta the big step snart så berättade jag för honom att jag ville ha en enkel ring i guld (ej för gult guld, min har lite rött i sig) med en sten. Aleks designade ringen själv hos guldsmeden och inuti står det Aleks ♥ Kenza. Den är verkligen perfekt. Visste jag eller någon att Aleks skulle fria? Nej, ingen visste! Jag hade väl på känn att det skulle hända någongång i vår/sommar men som ni ser i klippen blev jag väldigt chockad. Hade inte ens en tanke på att det kunde hända under festen! Finns det längre klipp på när Aleks friade? Ja det finns ett långt klipp, men vi känner att vi vill hålla det för oss själva.

Och den stora frågan….. När blir bröllopet? Vi har lite smått börjat prata om nästa sommar. Det enda är att vi så gärna vill hinna flytta innan, men vi siktar på augusti nästa år och så får vi se hur det går med lägenheten. Vi bestämmer oss nog för exakt datum inom de närmsta månaderna. 1 år innan känns väl lagom att börja planera? Har dock redan börjat fundera på hur klänningen ska se ut. :-) Ahhh detta känns helt sjukt. Jag är så lycklig!!! Herregud vad jag älskar den mannen.

I’ve seen your questions and I’ll try to answer them here. How big is the diamond? 1.01 carat. Did Aleks know what kind of ring I wanted? Last year when we talked about that maybe it was time to take the big step soon, I told him that I wanted a simple ring in gold (not too yellow gold, my ring has a bit red in it) with one stone. Aleks designed the ring himself at the gold smith and inside it says Aleks ♥ Kenza. It is perfect. Did I or anyone else know that Aleks was going to propose? No, nobody knew! I guess had a feeling that it would happen this spring/summer but as you can see in the videos I was very shocked. I didn’t even have a thought on that it could happen during the party! Is there a longer video of the proposal? Yes there is a long video, but we feel that we want to keep it to ourselves.

And then the big question…. When is the wedding? We’re talking about next summer. The only thing is that we really want to move before we get married, but we have our eyes on August next year and then we’ll see how it goes with the apartment. We will decide the exact date within the next couple of months. 1 year before the date is enough to start planning right? I’ve already started thinking about what my dress will look like though. :-) Ahhh this feels so weird. I’m so happy!!! I love that man so much.

Min look på Guldknappen i lördags! By Malina har verkligen de perfekta klänningarna för bröllop, galor etc och jag har burit hennes klänningar flera gånger. De är enkla och eleganta. Älskar den här mintgröna färgen också! :-)

Som ni kanske ser så har jag tagit ut löshåret (hade förtjockning i några månader), det är lika långt som innan men har numer bara tre hårstrån på huvudet. :-)))) Lyssna på mig nu mina vänner och BÖRJA ALDRIG med löshår! Jag började för att jag ångrade min page och det var det dummaste jag kunde göra. Borde bara ha låtit håret växa ut ifred… Ska försöka hålla mig borta från löshår nu så länge jag bara kan även om jag känner mig flintis. Det positiva är dock att jag äntligen kan ha stram hästsvans igen!

As you might see I have removed my extensions (I’ve had a little bit in my hair the last few months to make it thicker), it’s as long as before but now I have 3 hairs on my head. :-)))) Friends, listen to me now and don’t EVER start with hair extensions! I started cause I changed my mind about my haircut and it was the most stupid thing I could do. I should have just let it grow out… I’ll try to stay away from extensions now as long as I can, even though I feel bald. One positive thing is that I can finally wear my hair in a tight ponytail again!
